Alternatively we offer our Just Romance Subscription, pertect if you would like to receive more than one book a month customised to multiple romance genres.
Every month you will receive a surprise paperback romance delivered to your door. Our book selections are tailored based on your romance genre preferences when you sign up.
We like to choose from a wide range of different authors so you may receive books by bestselling authors or those making their debut, but we hope you enjoy the variety. Books will either be standalone or the first of a series.
We dispatch all subscriptions on the 10th of each month, but please allow 3-5 working days for delivery after this.
All pay monthly subscribers who sign up before the 5th of the month will receive their first subscription in the same month, (ie. sign up on 4th July and your first order will be delivered mid-July). If you sign up after this cut-off date your first delivery will be dispatched the following month, (ie. sign up on 6th July and your first order will be delivered mid-August).
We offer 3, 6 or 12 month prepaid subscriptions or a rolling pay monthly option.
Our romance subscriptions and book boxes already have shipping included in the price. Everything else in our shop will have shipping calculated and charged at checkout.
We currently only deliver within the UK.
You can make changes to your subscription by logging in to your account on our website. If you have any further queries please contact us.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Yes, you can give a subscription as a gift. Simply select the "Giving as a gift" option during checkout and you will be able to leave a gift message and select when you want the subcription to start.
Please note that the gift recipient will not receive their own account login and therefore will be unable to make changes themselves. This is in order to protect the gift givers personal and payment details. However the gift giver is able to log in and change details for the gift recipient. Alternatively please contact us and we can manually change details on request.
Yes, when your chosen pay upfront timeframe (3, 6 or 12 months) ends the subscription will not renew.
Yes, simply log in to your account to pause your subscription. You will be able to choose how long to pause for and when you would like you subscription to resume.
You can cancel your pay monthly subscription by logging in to your account. If payment has already been taken recently your order will have already been created, therefore the cancellation will only apply to future renewal dates and shipments. Please cancel before the renewal date to stop your next delivery.
Prepaid subscriptions will automatically be cancelled at the end of your 3, 6 or 12 month subscription.
If you have food allergies, please carefully consider whether you should include the snacks option in your subscription. Although we ask about allergies during the checkout process and take your requirements into consideration in the snacks we choose for your subscription, we can’t guarantee that our treats won’t contain traces of allergens. If in doubt we recommend choosing a subscription without snacks.
Always read the food labels of products provided in our subscriptions before consuming.
You will be asked about any dietary requirements, (vegan, dairy free, gluten free etc), during the checkout process and snacks will be tailored to your needs.
If you receive a damaged item in your delivery please get in touch with us within 14 days of receipt at support@justlovebooks.co.uk and provide photos/details of the faulty item and packaging. We will only replace items that have been damaged during shipping and not damage that occurred after receipt. We will endeavour to replace the damaged item, subject to availability, or alternatively provide you with store credit at our discretion.
The romance books provided in our subscriptions will contain varying levels of spicy content.
However if you prefer your romance with less heat then you can select the sweet romance option to receive romance books with little to no spice when selecting your R&R subscriptions or book boxes.
- Bisexual Romance: a romance featuring characters who are romantically attracted to more than one gender.
- Contemporary Romance: these books will focus on love stories set in the present day.
- Dark Romance: this genre explores intense, perilous or toxic relationships featuring morally grey characters. Often contains trigger warnings.
- Gay Romance: a romance that centers on a relationship between two male characters.
- Historical Romance: features love stories set in bygone eras.
- Lesbian Romance: a romance that centers on a relationship between two female characters.
- Queer Romance: a love story featuring LGBTQ+ characters, including same-sex couples, bisexual, pansexual, transgender or non-binary individuals.
- Romantasy: this category blends romance and fantasy. These stories are often set in magical worlds or include otherworldly or mythical characters.
- Rom Com: romantic comedies are lighthearted romance stories with humour and witty banter.
- Sports Romance: a romance including athletes and sports settings.
- Sweet Romance: these love stories focus on emotional connections and wholesome relationships and feature little to no sexual content.
- Transgender Romance: a romance featuring characters who identify as transgender or non-binary.
