Subscription Policy
Welcome to Just Love Books! This Subscription Policy outlines the terms and conditions for our subscription services. By subscribing, you agree to the following policies.
1. Subscription Plans & Pricing
1.1. Just Love Books offers the following subscription plans:
- Pay Monthly: from £14.99 per month (charged on a rolling basis until cancelled)
- Pay Upfont - 3 Months: from £44.97 (prepaid for 3 months)
- Pay Upfont - 6 Months: from £89.94 (prepaid for 6 months
- Pay Upfont - 6 Months: from £179.88 (prepaid for 12 months)
1.2. All subscription prices are listed in GBP and are subject to change.
2. Billing & Payments
2.1. Automatic Renewal
- Pay Monthly Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the next billing date.
- The billing date for Pay Monthly subscriptions will be on the 1st day of the month.
2.2. Payment Processing
- Payments are processed at the time of sign-up for all subscriptions and on a recurring basis thereafter for Pay Monthly plans on the 1st day of the month.
- By subscribing, you authorize Just Love Books to charge your payment method for each renewal.
2.3. Failed Payments
- If a payment fails, you will receive a notification to update your payment method.
- If payment is not updated within a set period, your subscription may be cancelled.
3. Shipping & Delivery
3.1. Shipping Schedule
- Subscription boxes are shipped on a monthly basis on the 10th day of the month.
- Tracking information will be provided via email once your subscription box ships.
3.2. Shipping Costs
- Shipping fees for subscriptions and book boxes are included in the price.
- Shipping fees for all other items on our website are calculated at checkout.
- Orders are only available to be shipped within the UK.
3.3. Address Changes
- It is the subscriber’s responsibility to ensure their shipping address is correct.
- Address changes must be made before the next billing cycle.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
4.1. Cancellation Policy
- Customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days from receipt of the initial order and must return all purchased items within 14 days from the cancellation date. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Please contact us at support@justlovebooks.co.uk to cancel your order.
- After the initial 14 day right to cancel period has ended, Pay Monthly subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time from within their Just Love Books account, but cancellations must be made before the next billing date to avoid being charged.
- Pay Upfront subscriptions (3, 6 and 12 month plans) can only be cancelled within 14 days of receipt of the intial order.
4.2. Refund Policy
- Refunds will only be considered in line with our cancellation policy in 4.1 where customers have cancelled within 14 days of receipt of their initial order. Once goods have been returned, refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt.
- Pay Upfront subscriptions (3, 6 and 12 month plans) cannot be refunded after the 14 day right to cancel period has ended. Any unused credit cannot be refunded after this time but customers will continue to receive their monthly order until the end of the prepaid period.
5. Subscription Modifications
5.1. Skipping a Box
- Subscriptions may be paused within your Just Love Books account.
5.2. Plan Changes
- Subscribers cannot downgrade a Pay Upfront plan (e.g. switching from a 6 month plan to a monthly plan).
- Upgrading to a longer-term plan is allowed but will take effect at the next billing cycle.
6. Damaged or Missing Items
6.1. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos for a replacement (subject to availability) or store credit at our discretion.
6.2. If your box is lost in transit, please reach out to us, and we will assist in tracking or replacing your order.
